COVID-19

October 29, 2020

Dear families and community,

As of Thursday October 29th, Bonner County will be moved to the Orange category of community transmission by Panhandle Health District (PHD). This indicates substantial community spread in Bonner County and is determined by the number of cases weekly, positivity rate, and hospital capacity. This action will put us into Category 2 of our district reopening plan.

As a part of Category 2, there will be no students on Friday, October 30th, so we can be prepared for the start of hybrid learning. Starting on Monday, students will be on either an A (Monday and Tuesday) or B (Wednesday and Thursday) schedule, where they attend in person 2 days a week and remote learning 3 days per week. If you are unsure which days your student will attend, please contact your school.

We understand the inconvenience this puts on our families and will continue to assess the situation to get our students back in the classroom full time as quickly as possible. We appreciate your continued support as we work through this pandemic together.

Sincerely,

Paul Anselmo

Superintendent
